Wisconsin Theatreworks is seeking actors for the musical Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story.  Buddy tells the story of the three years in which Buddy Holly became the world’s top recording artist. The show features over 20 of Buddy Holly’s greatest hits including “Peggy Sue”, “That’ll Be The Day”, “Oh Boy”, “Not Fade Away”, “Everyday”, “Rave On”, “Maybe Baby”, “Raining In My Heart”, Ritchie Valens’ “La Bamba”, and the Big Bopper’s “Chantilly Lace”. www.buddythemusical.com

Buddy Holly: 18-22, 1950s singer, guitarist, charming, passionate, must move well

Maria Elena: 18-25, Mezzo, Attractive, Buddy Holly’s wife

Joe B. Maudlin: 18-25, singer, bassist, southern boy, member of The Crickets

Jerry Allison: 18-22, singer, drummer, member of The Crickets

Ritchie Valens: 18-25, Chicano, singer, rock & roller

Big Bopper: 20-30’s singer, larger-than-life performer

Norm Petty/MC: 30’s -  40s, singer-actor, record producer, manager

 Hipockets Duncan/Murray Deutsch: 30s- 50’s , actor-singer, music producer
